See bottom of post for analysis i have done on brick laying speeds and tracking FBRs progression

"The real trouble is , I think , the hadrian development could not meet the timeline requirements re performance to a commercialisation standard"

I agree on this and it shines light on how frequently FBR are talking about lay speeds. Which makes me think that the speed in which HX can lay is key in its sustainability, at least more so than I previously believed.

Previously I have not really paid particular attention down to the seconds because I figured a 1-3 day lay rate is good enough, with the emphasis and sacrifices (Improvement over Revenue) FBR is making to be faster and faster. I now feel like there must be more to it and there is something critical in the Lay Speed, what these are I cannot say for sure yet, but I can speculate.

    - Is it Critical for HX to Build a home inside of an 8-10 hour shift?
    - How much time is lost of this 8-10 hour shift for?
    a) Mob/demob
    b) Setup/Packup
    c) Material loading
    d) Staged Human Interventions: placement of Lintels & frames
    - Are these boundaries being pushed because its required for Sustainable Business Case, or is it to refine the Maximum Capacity, which can then be scaled back say 20% for reliability purposes.
    - Are we competing with another form of Automated Construction?
    - Are we putting in the extra yards now, to set ourselves leaps & bounds ahead of potential copycat competitors?
    - Is FBR still FAT testing at rapid speeds before going Commercial?
    - Is FBR Australia (FBR/BKW Joint Venture, more so BKW) demanding a fully blown FAT testing process over the next 6 months before commiting to buying $10M worth of HX Machines? (to meet performance shares)
    - Are key Stakeholders or Lenders demanding more build time/FAT Testing prior to advancing to Large Capital Investment.

So many possibilities and questions which could support the recent change in direction. The shit thing is that FBR are never transparent on what's going on.

Anyways, here is some research I have done so that I can keep an eye on FBR's performance in regards to lay speeds.

Speed to Build a House- I was only able to fine 2 (real-time) videos of HX working

These are the Brick Dimensions of HX Bricks and of Standard Bricks used in my calculations for Lay Speed. When working out Avg Std Bricks in a HX Brick. I basically took 50:50 ratio of Internal and External Bricks, which resulted in 9 Std Bricks per HX this was the easiest work around to get the Lay Speed.

    * Avg Std Bricks in a HX Brick: This is based on the assumtion that 50% of bricks are Internal and 50% are External, Refer to the HX Brick tab for the sizing chart
    * Speed to build a house does not take into consideration downtime due to: Mob/Demob, Setup/Packup, Material Loading, Human Intervention lfor instance installing Lintels or Door/Window frames. This is purely Build speed and any downtime should be allocated time in the day for unproductive work. For example HX targets to work 6 productive hours out of 10, the other 4 hours are requered eleswhere
