Troopy, old cock, before I bought into this stock, I built an inside block wall in my house using glue (Hardasnails) to test if it worked OK. I was intrigued. Finding it was way quicker and cheaper to build (by hand) than using mortar I also built a small temporary wall outside with the sole purpose of going at it with a sledgehammer to compare with demolishing a standard block and mortar wall (done a few over my life). A strength test if you will. Well, that glue held like a mother that wouldn't let go and not a block survived intact. Not the case with a standard block and mortar build where circa 50% of the wall comes apart at the mortar joints.
So, at the time I was sold on the change from mortar to glue; no question as to its superiority over mortar; bought small parcels as the rest of the machine advanced. Figured it was worth throwing a paltry $ten at it for old times' sake in remembrance of the days I worked as a brickie's laborer in my youth; as a side hustle to finance a humble Diploma in property management. It was a brutally hard job and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Enter FBR .
