it’s definitely a 3D printer , and as Mike said “I see the Brick manufacturers as a natural partner” in so many words , I see HX as a machine gun and the brick manufacturers as bullets ! One cannot exist without the other simple as that . They both need each other , FBR can disappear over night and the Brick manufacturers will loose a massive chunk of the pie over time as other forms of construction takes hold , but with HX they are sure to keep going for hundreds of years and become a major player again by also taking over stick builds and many other forms of construction as HX is far too superior and stick builds are just as expensive as brick builds in America . Imo builders utilising HX will save on average $30- $50 k per build if you take waste into consideration , I remember years ago where Mike said Dr Hortons was very excited on saving 50 million per Ann on just waste alone .
