The risk with higher olive oil pricing is that for the price sensitive consumers it forces them to look to alternatives, then when olive oil price reduces or the alternatives increase, they don’t necessarily return to olive oil which can have a negative impact on overall demand.
As such, we don’t want prices to increase too much. The better option for CBO is to increase their production and reach, which they are doing through expansions in Australia and the Us.
