I think that small interest is primarily to get exposure to frac design and its outcome. Without that they would have been handicapped to promote a lower cost frac design without data backing up.
This should help to make it more attractive and lower the breakeven, on a success case. Saying that, some of the oil the forecast put out by companies in sustainability report is grim, $35 in 2030. How true is that value is really anyone's guess but i imagine at that price pretty much all the oil and gas production will halt and we will see $100 cycle again.
