Its really hard to tell from that article to know what exactly is going on it does mention stimulation but exactly what I dont Know.

I would be more interested in finding out what they do in our land. Ill do some more research.

As I Said there is probably no reason why it cant be done but there maybe many reasons why it wont be done or isnt done in the Permian.

Im certainly not aware of any going on in the Permian or any other tight fields in the USA.

I would be most interested to hear if this is happening in the Permian.
