DSD, I know you love shorting. We all know that. I have no problem with it but don't engage in it myself. My amateur take on it is that this is a slow motion short covering rally, as evidenced by the persistently declining short positions according to shortman.
I think the days of shorting this bad boy are over (long term). Short term shorting positions may be of benefit and good luck to you if you choose to pursue this.
I prefer to concentrate on the business. It's a magnificent business in a terrible sector. For now. But as the cycle changes, it is well run businesses like this that will benefit the most from the inevitable upturn.
