This all makes great sense, well written. I will remain on the side of caution. LIFX Mighy well have seen rapid growth, which is yet to audited and proven, BUD has gone sideways at best. So I assume your optimism is based on LIFX revenue only. Even if BUD land a whale they will not get all OHMs installed in time in order to book the revenue for CY 2019. It seems to take BUD months to install these easy to install OHMs and then the revenue never materialises as per ‘biggest 1/4 ever’ then no revenue. I guess we will know in next few months. If whale does not land in next 2 months, BUD will not achieve the revenue commitments they made around OHMs. If this happens and revenue is achieved via lightbulb sales, which would be great, then BUD will be a consumer electronics company for ever more. IMO
