    That wasn't what we were discussing necessarily. Lots of MM is based on CBD more than THC anyway. That's also why they don't give you as much of the 'high' effect. THC is the more psychoactive.

    We were discussing recreational and MM impacts to road safety, and driving impaired. Even with the controlled effect (which btw is NOT proven yet) and with it being for pain relief, there is still a philosophical discussion for MM moreso than other drugs.

    THC and CBD are both fat soluble, meaning testing is purely a yes/no response. Even measuring the quantity is flawed because repeated usage causes fat stores to build up these two chemicals which can then be released for days after the last usage. Pain meds, which usually restrict driving, can be tested for (opiods etc) and usually have a 12-24 hr limit of detection.

    Canada (Where I live) is living through this philosophical discussion now, but it is far more complex than 'its pain relief so let them drive'. That's just pure incorrect speculation.
