Hi Aussie ,
Your post reminder me of the many similarities between mining & the racing game.
The similarities are endless. It does not matter whether you are a shareholder/Owner/Punter/Historian.
The only thing that matters is results that are proven after verification /Correct Weight .
You can do all the research/ breeding / bloodlines / geography etc
You can have the best possible animal/land/conditions/preparation/planing/etc etc etc.
The one thing that matters? in all cases is the end proven result.
My point is no matter what you may think/believe / plan there are many many things during the start & the end result you cannot foresee that may effect the end results.
I believe that in BSR case, management has the end result firmly in its agenda & working tirelessly the get the result most of us are looking for.
On a lighter note.
A classic example of this was at Flemington yesterday when the trainer of the winning G1 race was asked " did he think his horse could win " His answer was a emphatic, Yes , he did think his horse could win. He had done his research & planning & always had the belief that his horse would win. He had many things that he had to overcome on the journey but he never lost his belief in the main goal. The horse started @ 100/1
In the above paragraph the similarities are similar to BSR Management & the trainer of the horse.
You can ask either & the answer will be the same. They both consider themself as "Their horse or company"
Without turning this into a novel we should realise that we should have faith in our investment & management to achieve the goal as soon as possible with the best possible outcome for us shareholders.
Things to realise when reading other people's posts on this & other sites is that not everyone's agenda will be the same. They are not bound by the same laws as Management & should not be treated in the same light.
Results that are facts & verified by the relevant authorities IMO are the only facts that can be relied upon.
There will be rumours, other people's expectations, etc in both racing & mining. It's your choice.!
The problems encountered in both industries are similar with the day to day running, there are matters to be addressed & overcome, is just your choice wether you want to be involved in these matters or you choose to leave these matters to the person in charge.
Matters of importance have to be notified in both industries
Another thing where the two industries are similar is who pays the bills.
Let's hope the odds similarities are in our favour when correct weight is posted.
I tend to be not too critical of the "cut & paste" information as I believe that its all they can announce.
Many things may be happening but by ASX rules do not permit such information being made.
The new reporting /rules procedure being adopted by the company in the recent 1/2 Yearly report was much appreciated which was obviously needed as the company transforms from explorer too explorer/producer.
From the half yearly report on the positive point of view to me was the fact that the Chairman Alex McKenzie from his Senegal Nominess company lent at no interest a considerable sum $233,000 to Bassari Resources
Obviously this is a positive sign of something to come soon.
There is no such thing as a free lunch.
Was very pleasing to read that controlled drilling is about to start @ Makabingui Pit #2
That tells me that the Mining Contractor is very close too announcement & starting.
Was very pleasing to read that more drilling of Konkouto & Konkouto Hill has been planed.
More interesting to read that there is no liability re expenditure on Permit .
Particularly note was taken that with the coming planed drilling of Konkoutu & Konkoutou Hill should result in a first maiden resource figure.
Also as mentioned that the company has lodge a exploitation permit for the area. Thus securing the resource to come.
Was pleasing to read that the POG as at 30/06/2019 was up 17% Today's POG is 25% up on the Feasability POG of US$1,200
Was very pleasing to note that we are now in the CONSTRUCTION phase having progressed from the planing stage.
You may be right Aussie, production may not be long away. February 2020 would be nice.
To be honest for those who have been with this stock for many years it does feel like its taking a enturnity .
Stick with it its not long now. IMO
