Yes, good suggestion Legman - I think it's wise to ask Tony about the company's raising of capital. That way in future, we can prevent unsubstantiated and mischievous posting as was the case with - the raise which was "imminent 3 months after the AGM", which was "imminent in January" which was also "imminent in December".
In my opinion the fact they haven't chosen to raise is because they know news is on the horizon, it's a vote of confidence. Will they raise again - of course. But I think the share price will be a lot higher.
As for yesterday's increased activity, good to see some green - but I don't know why you would expect a whole lot of excitement from posters. The share price was 14 cents, nothing to crow about. You'd think a big buyer was taking/increasing their position and a few smaller sellers taking some off the table when .0.135, 0.13, .... was available. Who knows?
Perhaps people may have come to the realization that I have - a big transaction has to happen first. If as reported LCK has placed a bid, even if they were unsuccessful in the acquisition - you'd think this would have to be reported in the proceeding Quarterly Report. How would the market see this? The fact that LCK has been able to access hundreds of millions of dollars in finance and place a bid on the largest fertilser operation in the country. Commercially, it would be the biggest achievement for ISG in Australia.
Legman - I have already placed $100 on your 66/1, could we do another side bet if they place a bid, but are unsuccessful? How about 33/1? I'm good for another $100.
