While I appreciate some of your sentiments, I disagree with your view of Leon as "all his achievements are always as a second in command, on the back of leaders with the vision, being directed". If you knew anything about CTP internally you'd know that Range was his baby all along. He is doing fine leading CTP in the short few years he's had the gig, and at least his forecasts/ estimates are not pie in the sky dreams.

Having a dig at his financial background as not appropriate could also be used against the former CEO with his law background. By no means do all good energy company leaders need to be engineers.

Dukas has been frustrating, and I imagine in this Friday's quarterly webinar Leon will express just how frustrating it has been. But I agree that with McCormack now at the helm, who has had a few decades worth of dealings with Santos at senior levels, CTP will do the best that can be done. Suspect McCormack knew Gallagher before he even got to the top of Clough.
