I totally disagree. If it can be shown that revenues were manipulated for the sole purpose of meeting 'performance related milestones', that resulted in A$300mln+ of benefit to insiders (and no one else), at the direct cost to other shareholders, then it is definitely attestable. And to be honest, while the ASX/ASIC action may be civil, the outcome of the ongoing action could certainly result in class action on behalf of shareholders. If what seems to have happened really happened, then the directors stole A$300mln+ from other owners of the co, and that is a very very serious offence.
