I attended a GRV presentation in Brisbane in May 2021 with NB presenting.
You wont find it in the corresponding announcement put out by the company, but NB told the audience that he expected Georgina to become a larger project than Alpha.
The speculation that followed was - spin off Georgina as a separate ASX listed company and to leave GRV with Alpha.
To the best of my knowledge there was never any intention to divest/spin off Alpha from GRV and I think this remains the case.
I believe that successful drilling results at Georgina will probably lead to Georgina becoming a separate company. GRV shareholders would then hold two companies.
With the subsequent inclusion of power generation at Alpha, the project will become huge - all the more reason to spin off Georgina in due course.
