if you work for an investment manager. you do your own research. but also rely on broker models. compare your thesis. contrast etc.
we don't have broker research reports. @danpech @theprof and a few others give their view. Onion and Pandadude some stuff. and a few others. and I look at the balance sheet, company reports etc. heck. I even take in some stuff you say.
