These guys certainly aren't great communicators, but on your first point, the student acquisition and teaching costs have gone back to roughly the same amount that was outlaid in the half year ending Dec 20 in which they posted a profit of 1.3 million. It looks to me that they are making this outlay in anticipation of students returning in greater numbers.
In fact they stated in their half yearly last year that they anticipated that it would take time for numbers to get back to pre- pandemic levels.
It looks like patience is required.
