You can understand that folks that have taken a position and are behind the 8 ball on their investment being less likely to want to discuss the facts of the asset because it exposes the risks.
Its very normal, but that doesn't mean people who don't hold a position should be removed from contributing to the conversation - that would be "sad". If the quality of the project has merit, then simply argue the merit = facts.
