Cool post. In future, you may want to have someone review it for an "idiot check" before making such strong claims. You've backed yourself into a corner, demanding that "ATL's investment will help enable future supply" is a fact. The problem is that no "enabling of supply" has occurred, therefore it can't possibly be a fact. It's an assumption on your behalf, because that's how you think things will pan out. The release stated that the investment will be used for "project development works, working capital, corporate expenses and related project expenditure". Noting that just two months later the project was in C&M, it looks incredibly likely (IMO) that the entire ATL investment will be whittled away as "related project expenditure", being C&M costs.

Either way, we absolutely, unequivocally cannot say that it will help enable future supply, when it's just as likely that the company could end up in VA, rather than producing again in the future. Therefore It only becomes a fact once, or better yet, IF the latter happens. Until then, it's just your opinion, based on your optimistic assumption that the company will remain viable throughout the downturn.

P.S. – I love the part where you include another assumption in 'Fact 2.' It's not a fact that AGY and ATL are currently in discussions. It’s a fact they WERE in discussions at one point, but there’s no evidence to support that they still are. In fact, the latest "Key Objectives for 2024" didn’t mention any ongoing negotiations, and those talks were specifically tied to Stage 2 anyway, which is now in C&M. Once again, you're turning your hopes into 'facts,' while incorrectly accusing others of doing the same.
