After this PPSA is signed, whenever it may be, SM has only one thing to do to prove that he's the right guy for the MD job going forward.
And that is to commit to a date for a JV / farm in signed and delivered, and a date for on field program to resume.
On the basis that he's had a 12-month head start, data room opened for much of 2024, and a number of offers from potential partners being received, looked at and counter-offered during all this time.
No more of this 'it's outside of my span of control' and 'imminent / on the cusp of / very shortly' from here on.
