It could be for any reason - anything from portfolio rebalancing to tax loss selling (it's in season now) - they are usually the types that if a stock falls below a predetermined capitalisation you take the tax loss and allocate to a company with a higher capitalisation.
The investment amount is lower but the aggregate valuation of portfolio is higher.
