IMO it would be difficult to re-finance KBC without also re-financing the Glennon debt as they share the security. It may be that KBC are feeling less combative now they are cashed up from Magellan.
The terms of the facility are pretty decent. If MEL can reach an agreement with KBC why not keep it alive? The old saying "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" springs to mind.
