If the A to C1 grade pearls (about 48,000 pieces) achieve an average price of $75 each, that would generate approximately $3.6 million in sales. The remaining 31,000 pearls in the C2 grade could either be sold at lower prices or allocated to retail channels. Notably, the A and B grade pearls are likely to command prices well above $75 per piece.
This estimate takes a conservative, bulk-sales perspective, and it’s unlikely that all 31,000 C2 pearls would be withheld from the market. If only 10,000 pearls remain unsold, total revenue could reach around $5 million, which would be comparable to the results of the December 2024 Kobe Auction.
