Since my last post, I found the following statement by Avita on page 13 of their August 2023 quarterly report:
"The Company’s revenue consists primarily of the sale of the RECELL System to hospitals, treatment centers, COSMOTEC
and to BARDA (collectively, “customers”), predominately in the United States." So I think @rdeguara was close to correct with his last post.

In the 1Q23 conference call, I also found reference to "cost of $3500 to make", "Lifetime revenue of around $2M", and "300 uses, or approximately $15 per use". Based on Avita getting its revenue on sale of each unit, then "lifetime revenue" and "$15 per use" must be for the hospital or treatment centre. What an incentive that is for them to maximise their use of the Recell device, which will benefit Avita when the unit needs to be replaced.

In less than 12 months from when all sales staff were fully trained, they should be averaging > 20 units placed per month each. So if he/she is correct with each unit being sold for $6500, then the revenue run rate by around March 2024 should be close to $109M pa with just over half of that being the cost to make the units based on $3500 to make each unit.

Another question: Does Avita get any further income from supplying consumables for each use of the device? If so, this should grow quite rapidly.
