Agree G&S. Since SP has fallen shorters have been more active with 2.54m shorts bought back from 15/2 to 22/2 although 863K new shorts were put in place. Below is a graph of shorts covered since Jan 4. There was an above normal closeout on one day (2.5m) when 11.4m shares were traded, the day we saw 25c Still around 44m shorts which should see shorters put a floor under the SP in mid 20c region.
