Thank you hewi for posting, as I'd missed that even though I buy the 'AFR'.
That's terrific. I don't want YAL to invest in these underperforming mines. BHP is ridding itself of these: more fool any purchaser.
WHC would similarly be mad to buy. I sold WHC a while back and now have only NHC/YAL in the coal space.
No wonder a key overseas investor in WHC (from London IIRC) is opposed to a purchase of these BHP mines.
