WilliamPike - More like just plain common sense I'd like to suggest. I'm sure the fun police have better things to do than bother about my infrequent and innocuous posts.

I reckon it's just common sense to acknowledge that not everyone has the temperament to be comfortable with equities investing. In a sense it's a bit like farming - you can either put up with the floods and droughts and press in hope of the good times returning or you can't (and should look for another occupation if you can).

I've loved the Australian equities market since I was a high-school kid.
