I have never heard of Brian Chu, but he is supposed to be a pretty good commentator on Aussie gold stocks. l wouldnt read too much into the general market right now as the sentiment is pretty negative about anything gold, especially pending mergers. Anyway, Brian Chu thinks it will work out very well for share holders in both companies. Most of us would agree gold stocks are currently getting a rough time and are bewildered as to why? Record high gold prices and historically low gold company share prices. The experts cant explain that, but maybe someone on this forum has an explanation. l put any negative commentary down to just that......the market is confused, fickle, flighty, directionless and is lacking the capacity to make informed rational decisions at this point in time. As Mr. Chu says, those who hold gold stocks and are prepared to wait are going to be rewarded handsomely. You probably need an investment time line greater than 12 weeks which discounts 70% of so called savvy investors out there however.
