Let's hope LAU is active in securing more annual or multi-year contracts and volume (provided they're profitable) than it loses. IIRC two or three years ago it ceased dealing with some smaller clients as they weren't accretive.

Increased immigration (that the majority of Australians oppose) helps a little with the totality of consumer demand but if a much larger number of residents reduce spending, immigrants don't fully compensate.

While we don't rejoice in others' misery, less spending (in real terms i.e. after CPI) will ensure some 'mum and dad' road transport operators cease trading. There may be slow consolidation of this fragmented sector.
