Right now the transport business is in a bit of a turmoil. With threats of more regulation for owner drivers, a stalling economy and poor weather conditions for agriculture the best prepared are those with specialist capabilities, rail options and a diversified clientele. Operators such as Lindsay are the best prepared and should show superior returns as the industry becomes more consolidated. Hence a couple of brokers have put out buy recommendations and yesterdays trading seems to suggest others are taking notice and getting on board.
