Sorry, was too busy buying on market to write any meaningful commentary during the day.

Market basically lost its mind over a what is a very low probability event (probably not helped by the confusing communication).

My understanding is that it would NOT be in Goodyear's interest to cannibalise their other products by bringing Coopers in-house. Goodyear runs a multi-channel, multi-distributor strategy in Australia. Also, any changes in Australia distribution is so far down the list of priorities for Goodyear in terms of the objective of the acquisition.

If there's any issues, they intend to work it out closer to 2027.

PS. I find the market quite good with DCFs that backend-heavy (slowly rising earnings), but terrible at thinking about DCFs that are front-heavy, in that you get your most of your FCFF in the first 3 years.
