The S for 'Social' in ESG I suspect has been expanded in the past year.. It wouldn't be surprising if all companies now under this will be expected to have a detailed report on how they welcome and support LBGTQ and everything in between etc.
It's a new world we live in and given a few of the other things that were actually named by Ian in one of the announcements, which need to be included in the new ERD, it wouldn't surprise me if these types of issues are creeping into company requirements and "ESG" being all encompassing (not just environmental), even the above type of stuff could be getting thrown into the EPA approval process..
No confirmation it is, but thinking along these lines, obviously more requirements have been added which has pushed the timeline out much further than expected.
Should these types of issues and a company's policies and proceedures around them be part of EPA approval? I don't think so, but if they are putting it somewhere...
