Personal opinion: The last few weeks reeked of manipulation and today the buyer decided there were enough sellers to buy what they needed so all the "sell" orders sitting 10 cents+ above the bid vanished and now heaps of "buys" below the bid have appeared. It's time to push the price back up.
Now that I have hit post I will put my tin foil hat back on.
