    I believe the shorting is to do with investors believing (falsely) that breaking into profitability was going to take longer than it has and the company would need to raise capital. A capital raise would bring about dilution, and also the opportunity to close out the shorts with the cheaper shares in a CR. Take a look at PDN on shortman.com.au
    They were shorted heavily in mid December. New shares were issued at 26c (they were trading in the 30s) and on that day the shorts dropped dramatically, indicating positions were closed out. Profits taken.
    I'm no expert but it would appear that there is huge buying support now since ~16M shares need to be bought just to close out positions (before the shares double in the next few years), let alone bonefide investors and instos wanting to buy in. I have no idea what happens in this situation - my guess would be a strong couple of weeks ahead. Thoughts?
