It could be a tactic MM but they'd need to have some pretty good behind the scenes info to put it into practice. It's good to read the article re: IDG share placement again and the fact that they chose Magnolia over other ventures. If they just wanted a small amount of LNG then they could have jumped on board with anyone. Perhaps this alliance will prove to be a master stroke by GV and Co when the trade issue is settled. The depreciation in SP is possibly just retail holders losing patience after so long. A bit surprising because in my opinion there must be renewed activity behind the scenes now that the tariff increase has been delayed and China is expected to import huge quantities of LNG. The silence from management might be an indication that commercially sensitive issues are at hand - I've thought that many times before though, without result.
