To all that are trying to explain the cost increase. Rise up above cost of sales. Look at the entire picture. Even with a 25% sales jump profits are effectively zero and would have been Very red if not for reevaluations of off shore assets which added AUD 92M in profit.
Simple Math shows this and no one has even tried to explain it.

2nd Half 2022 Profits $384 M. first half 2025 5.9M Profits are down 98.5 % in less than two years

The short term is bad as well
2nd Half 2024 Profits $33M. first half 2025 5.9M Profits are down 33% % in less than 6 months. Justify cost and revenue any way you want this is not good.

It is going to take at least a 2x increase in NdPrO to get Lynas to a reasonable Profit. Some may cheer the chart that looks great on a one month basis but it has yet to help. Most of you claim to be long term holders. Wake up and take a longer term view.

Absolutely correct how do you explain what profits went from $33M to 5.9M. -82%/ This included a 92 M One time item of reevaluating offshore assets.

Please widen your myopic view focused on just one coast and look at the entire picture. Sales up profits down please explain.
True but only one thing counts. What they can Sell the end product for minus what it cost to take it out of the ground and process it. Lynas profits are falling dramatically because of this. AL like to talk about what is in the ground and how great Mt Weld is and I agree with her completely. The problem is the rest of the chain is in chaos, and I question if anyone is addressing that. Even stockholders seem to be concentrating on politics and not seeing the Company Profits are gone.
i totally agree PE for last 12 months is over 160. For last 6 months they made 5.9M, Times 2 to annualize it is 12M. Divided by 935M shares is a EPS of $0.013 at a closing SP of $6.85. Thats a PE of 545. They have to distract themselves with something to avoid looking at how poorly Lynas is doing compared to average of its peers on ASX which has an average PE of about 30. Major political turmoil, that has to help Lynas, is the only way they will show any sort of acceptable profit in the next 2 years. Far easier to concentrate on that rather than what Lynas needs to do internally.
She did say that. I agree with here not one major source of REE in last decade is producing. She is correct. What you and AL seem to totally mis is profits are down over 98% since second half of 2022. Q to Q 81%. What is going to be done about it? AL obviously from CC does not want to touch this subject. Why is she not putting a forth a plan to fix this problem. P/E is price divided by earnings. Either the earnings have to come up or price goes down No company can sport a 12 month PE over 160, or a 2 X last Q of 545, for any time people will wake up. Lynas to have a PE of 50 (ASX is about 30) for the next year will have to make AUD 130 M at a $7.00 SP in the 2 nd half. After $ 6M in first half does that sound reasonable? it is just over 20 X more. `

The 92 million for adjustment in offshore assets in the P&L is a one time gain. Considering the 90 day book to bill delay and the longer spot price to book delay what is chance of Lynas going into red for year? Maybe that will wake some of you up including AL who is total focused on staying profitable, Not making a fair (not good) return on stock price.

True but not a word on what Lynas will do to return to a reasonable profit level. She is very good on explaining external items and showing succes of Mt Weld operations. Nothing about what needs to happen in rest of company to bring the PE down from the stratosphere.
