I got a call from a Dulux representative about a week ago. They were asking whether I understood the takeover and its terms, which I do. They then asked how I was planning to vote my shares, and why. Told them I was voting no, as this is a sector I wish to be invested in long term and there aren't any other viable options. Even if I reinvested the generous buyout straight back into the market, in 10 years I still think I'd be better off just holding Dulux.
