all up they paid 4.5bn for 72% of Boral, they got a 2.1bn pay day in capital return, that bring their cost down to 2.4bn
they sold about 1% sometimes ago probably to fund other business working capital
they now got 71% of Boral which is around 4.1bn, so they roughly make 2bn including dividend.
so you can easily justify why their stock run up by several billions
with a master STOKES, they made 2bn pay day for Boral play, all...
