I prefer to buy shares of companies whose products I know/use/trust as it gives you a bit of legal "inside" knowledge. But be sure not to over pay. The best time to buy any share is when it is under temporary pressure, preferably when it is from general market pressure, that way you are getting a discounted price. RCL hasn't recovered from the recent market weakness IMHO partly because its revenue is lumpy and the school year purchases were delayed ( they say). My daughter has just started using the product this year and it seems to work ok but is in the background rather than having a Wow! factor. I wouldn't even know it was there unless I knew what to look for. Maybe it takes a while to learn all the tools.
if you are really impressed with the product then average in with small bites, ~1/3 at a time so if it goes down you get more. Was listed at 20c about 2 years ago and nearly back there.
very illiquid share, hence the big % up and down, but if you "desperately" want in or out it's impossible without being burnt.
I would appreciate some more of your RCL user experience info/examples to help me make up my mind on this one.
