Frankly, given how notoriously inaccurate they invariably are, why anyone would reference investment recommendations or target prices of stockbroking analysts is beyond me.

One may as well take one's investment cues from a troupe of monkeys.

I'm not sure which is more inane: quoting stockbroker target prices as though they are meant to have some analytical authority; or that those target prices which are being quoted have been calculated by analysts accurate to the single dollar.

And in this particular case, accurate right down to the ten cents level:

I think that there should be a law that says that if you can't understand the ludicrousness of proffering a target price, of a stock whose price is measured in hundreds of dollars, accurate to a decimal place, then you are disqualified from practicing as an investment professional.
