    Let's not get too enthusiastic, but perhaps you'll be proven correct in time.

    Unlike overrated second class airline QAN, which specialises in looking after its executives with bulging remuneration, LAU is a quiet achiever that 99.9 per cent of Australians don't know about.

    It's not 'an icon', 'too big to fail', 'the national carrier' (hmmm given most passengers go overseas on other airlines) like QAN but it's now paying quite a pleasant little dividend (unlike capex-strapped QAN with its fleet of ageing aircraft), and importantly, kicking goals in the carriage of freight by rail as well as LAU's historic emphasis on road transport.

    If Australians saw a Lindsay prime mover hauling a trailer, or refrigerated railable container on a Pacific National train, some might believe LAU was another Linfox subsidiary. Not yet it (to use very bad English ain't.

    There's a bit more interest in LAU these days. Industrials that see their SP appreciating as much as LAu's has tend to garner a little more attention from institutions and small retail enquirers.
