Linfox isn't a listed company: if it took over Scott's, there'd almost be a duopoly in Australia with Linfox and Team Global Express.

Far preferable that Linfox (and TGE) be prohibited by the ACCC from taking control of Scott's:

"...ScottsRL - Australia’s biggest cold chain trucking company that services directly or indirectly all of Australia’s major supermarkets - collapsed this week. It came two-and-a-half years after it was taken over by private equity firm Anchorage.

It is understood Lindsay Fox’s Linfox and smaller operator, ASX-listed Lindsay Australia is jostling for ScottsRL. Toll Global, owned by private equity firm Allegro, is also believed to be weighing up its options.

If a sale is achieved, it will be one of Australia’s fastest corporate receiverships. Secured creditors appointed Melbourne insolvency specialist KordaMentha as receiver late on Monday.

It is understood KordaMentha has set Friday as a deadline for the bidding. But sources said bids could be finalised as early as Thursday.

ScottsRL directly supplies Coles and Aldi, while it delivers on behalf of vendors to Woolworths and Metcash’s IGA stores. Its Coles contract alone accounts for about 15 per cent of its business..."
