As per the financial report we get one paragraph (below) in regards to operating expenses.
'Operating expenses of $5.3M, reflecting the Company’s continued investment in sales and marketing resources as well as expansion costs into global markets.'
We need the breakdown of these costs in:
1. What are one time costs that will not occur again?
2. What are the ongoing costs we expect to keep absorbing?
Concerning comments:
'Tight an competitive market' isn't this specifically what the Microsoft co-sell agreement is for, given 'I don't think people really understand how powerful that is'. Yes I understand the $5m pipeline so we need those deals to close in the future.
My personal summary:
1. Operating costs are up by a factor of 2.5x
2. Revenue is up by a factor of 1.18x
3. Expenses showing an outpacing of revenue.
4. Margins fell 73% down to 71% doesn't appear anything drastic at present.
4. I have just seen as per their LinkedIn page their employee headcount has gone from 46 up to 48, who are the new entrants here?
5. Profit well I don't need to tell you it's down, if they make a profit that -$961,358 will obviously offset against future profits (as it's quarantined at the moment).
6. Last two quarters (as per below) appear to be better quarters historically and as per directors comments previously.
7. Zero trust mandates are in force now with President Biden's Executive order over fed agencies in the USA and we are on the GSA schedule for fed agencies, so some good results with Microsoft assisting above would be helpful.
8. I still see a promising market for cyber given recent headlines revolving around cyber attacks, I would have just liked to have seen $3-3.5m of revenue (at least) in the half year, so they need a big close in last two quarters, now is the time to get moving.
