“Loads of dividends” I hope so. I have more Gxy in the smsf anyway. But not everyone is in the same position, they measure their growth annually and Gxy has been at this sp level since 2016 ignoring the spikes- hence no sp growth. And it’s not a matter of what is the best in 3 years time. We can’t ignore the power of div yield for a compay’s sp, hence I’ve just raised the possibility because we seem to have a windfall soon . using equity and debt in a balance way is more normal
Also, it’s a good practice to give, and the best time to share in giving is when one has a bonus. It makes us happier when we give . Try to gift a friend, family, or someone something - I’m sure you have done it- when we have received an unexpected windfall- it’s happiness to the giver and receiver. And It will be bad for the shorters or what others call p-sites. Cheers
