Of course anyone can sleep better without debt. But Gxy is now a different beast vs years ago. Why do you still live in fear of incurring debt."
Because vmp there is absolutely no need, nor incentive, nor indeed any possible benefit, to be derived by GXY trading its current cashed-up and fully debt-free position, which allows it to freely execute its own company expansion plans, as and when it sees fit, in exchange instead, for the shackles of indebtedness and the resultant obligatory kow-towing to the whims of some Wall St backed bunch of merchant banking financing types who are all of the while executing secret back-room deals involving the undisclosed agendas of the absolute plethora of 'fossil-fuel vested interests' who desperately want to delay any further rapid implementation of the global Lithium disruption paradigm for as long as they possibly can, whilst they all desperately continue trying to offload all of their own current 'fossil linked assets' before they finally and truly do become fully, 'stranded-assets'.
Make no mistake vmp, this Lithium disruption that is being played out right now is a global chess game whose stakes truly couldn't be any higher for an enormous number of 'interested' players and IMHO only an absolute fool would voluntarily surrender this company's current 'precious' debt free position of strength, for some ill-conceived idea that it would be '
nice' for the company to give us all a ..'
one-off'.. 93 cent special dividend, instead, of using those hundreds of millions of dollars of debt-free money to further drive ahead and develop SDV into a truly world class fully functional Lithium Brine mining entity, in the shortest possible time-frame, thus producing yet even hundreds of millions of dollars, more, of income, for all of us in that process.
'Debt funding' your own Sydney housing investments might have worked out well for you, up to now vmp, but, there's certainly no similar Australian taxpayer funded 'negative gearing payoff' to be had for GXY, in the work that they're now doing in the high Atacama desert plains of North West Argentina.
