Very interesting thoughts
@Al99 re WE3 and it might make a lot of sense!!
It seems they already sourced a new BOP and they might have to stabilize the entire casing down to the ulta-high pressure zone. Your point fits very good with the remarks by user
@lame in the Strike Threads (I highly recommend to read his thoughts there!). He is suggesting that they don't have to drill deeper at WE3, if the Permian sequence is fully connected through the fault zone which in this case would provide "a pathway" to constantly "recharge" the already drilled zones from the Permian... This would be a complete game changer for the northern part of the block IMHO... it would be a monster result from WE3...
For reference lame's post in the Strike Thread
Re WE4 we still do not know if they already resumed drilling the final meters in the Kockatea shale.
With WE4 they are not only testing the Wagina sequence (the Wagina pay zone might actually be a multiple of the 10m tested in WE2) but also the High Cliff sandstone for the first time and I think they are keen to set a new flow rate record from the Kingia with WE4.
Everything depends if they are able to control the high pressure zones below the Kockatea shale... Difference is, they will be prepared this time...
Monday might be an interesting trading day...
