I agree, they have the MC of a small speciality provider but are trying to punch above there weight.
One out there solution would be a merger with Austal, it might be just because I am a holder of both, however I think they would make a good fit commercially, if not technically...
I know it sounds strange because they don't have any operational synergies and they don't play into each other's business strategies. However, Austal has plenty of cash and cash generating mature contracts but the market doubts the growth potential. EOS has growth potential, however struggles with cash generation and diversification in contracts.
Together they have scale, a broader business, cash and might just be able to do spacelink themseleves with some contract prepayments. Of course there would be less upside from any one piece of news, but with that comes less risk.
I may be missing alot but it is a solution to the lack of size...
