As a new ( technical) holder, wasn't that an interesting poddy?
My first impression is the possible migration of coaly believers into Stanmore, in order to retain exposure, with hopefully more 'certainty' in the financials.
If Whitehaven does go the M&A road, what then for disgruntled holders, and would that too provide a different opportunity into the long term, to also take a position in WHC at a discount, OR exit altogether and migrate fully into SMR?
Bar the probable state governments increases in duties, and possible taxation liabilities within the federal government's 'esg' framework ( until it bites them on the arse) , sovereign risk seems another more important factor into Asia Pacific supply chain management into the Metcoal future.
Interesting behaviour into the seasonal strength, at least...
