    Yes, the hotels side of the business is basically where all the value is right now. I'm basically holding with no expectation of any profit contribution in the long run from the cinemas business or Thredbo. The latter because of climate change, but it's probably too bearish. Even with just hotels I think they can support a 5% gross divvy yield in the long run, which is fair enough for me. High fixed cost nature of both Thredbo and cinemas - the expense base is largely the same whether 0 or 100 customers turn up - could mean expectations of even a zero profit contribution could be a mistake though, if things get really bad. I'm willing to take the risk.
    Yeah you should be able to get a discount for cinemas, it's in the shareholder benefits brochure. I have no idea how to claim the discount. In the old days I guess you could ask staff at a counter but now it all seems to be self serve. I found an email address on the EVT website for shareholder benefit enquiries, [email protected] , that might help
