We had a company presentation yesterday and there was comments China is taking on a lot of coal at the moment and they aren't basing any longevity to it, Japan bought heavy and filled all stockpiles and ultimately didn't use as much as normal hence stockpiles are still very full, to the point they don't want to honour the current contract. It will be interesting to see how that plays out as if China suddenly shuts off Aus supply and Japan is full so we could see a massive demand drop and oversupply
