I am surprised that you are so surprised at the Green/Labor Govts stated intention to destroy the mining sector, been on the record for a considerable time. Get used to it, this is the beginning of the end for mining, (starting with coal, gas and oil) then nothing but squeaking windmills and Ha's of solar farms, and a busted economy.
